Kids' Tech University
is a program at Virginia Tech with one primary goal: creating the future workforce in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) by sparking kids' interest in these fields. Designed for children between the ages of 9-12, the program offers:
• Dynamic and age-appropriate interactive sessions given by researchers from the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics fields
• Exciting hands-on activities that encourage kids to transform learning into doing
• Engaging virtual labs to accompany the interactive sessions, giving kids the opportunity to actually use the concepts they were taught
The objective of the virtual lab is to be the KTU student's take home portion of the KTU educational package.
